Psychosocial Applications in Sport Injury Rehabilitation: An Evidence-Based Approach Webinar

The session, to be held Wednesday, June 26, will feature two Psychology of Sport Injury experts, Britton Brewer, Ph.D., CC-AASP and Jordan Hamson-Utley, Ph.D., who will discuss current theory and research as it relates to injured athletes navigating the rehabilitation landscape. In addition, applications of the theory and research will be made to clinical practices, with a specific focus on the role of e-Therapies in sport rehabilitation.

Sport Psychology Ethics Course - Register Now Through June 10

Just a reminder to sign up for the distance-learning course focusing on “Professional Ethics and Standards in Sport and Exercise Psychology” that AASP has partnered with West Virginia University to offer. The course runs June 17 - October 2, 2013 and has been specifically developed to examine important ethical and legal issues that sport and exercise psychology professionals often encounter in their work as teachers, researchers and practitioners. AASP 28th Annual Conference - SAVE THE DATE

Mark your calendars! AASP’s 28th Annual Conference will be held October 2-5, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year’s conference theme is Lifelong Physical and Mental Well-Being through Sport and Exercise.  The full conference program, including all accepted workshops, lectures, symposia and posters, will be available on the AASP website in June. Remember, the conference will officially start on Wednesday, October 2 at 1:00pm, so plan your travel arrangements accordingly!
